By: Eden B. As students of LANV, leadership is a very common topic in classes, but that doesn’t mean it’s the easiest subject to grasp. Leadership is a very abstract concept, so sometimes the meaning gets lost in how we talk about it. Creating principled leaders is LANV’s mission, but what does it really mean to be a leader, and how can you improve your leadership skills?
By: Coleman N. Nevada is a vast state with a lot of different places and attributes that are special to the state. With so many places, this article aims to narrow down the places our LANV students, staff, and mentors think are the best in Nevada, whether that be Northern, Southern, or somewhere in between. Though we cannot go everywhere in Nevada, we have a wide range of people that live in and near all kinds of places, such as Red Rock or Lake Tahoe.

While it’s true that students are required to take state tests, they don't have to feel stressed about testing because LANV takes extra steps to make sure students are ready and feel confident for tests. Ryan Rasar, the school’s IT and Assessments Manager says “Leadership Academy has been on a steady rise of academic achievement over the years and our students are performing well!” Mentors know that practice for test day starts on the first day and goes all year long, even though it might not always feel like it. |
